@d_stoltenberg I once spent an entire afternoon parsing weirdly formatted dates with implicit timezones to proper POSIX time because I needed an exact overlap in multiple datasets from different social media platforms.
In the paper it was just "we made sure the timestamps are synchronized".

@simogo Hey! I’ve been playing SPL-T for years and I still enjoy it tremendously! But after upgrading to an iPhone 12 mini, the moiré effect makes the numbers a bit hard to read. It was so crisp before!

With the new API you have to specify exactly what data you want from each queried object. The functions linked above give you all the variables you might expect form {rtweet}.

I did not test this exhaustively and you should not build any critical code with this, but it might be a good start if you haven't worked with the new API yet and don't want to get started from scratch.
As {rtweet} and {tweepy} do not work with the #TwitterAPI #v2, I wrote some functions to query the new API and return tweets in a rectangular tidy-compatible format.
