About me

I am a communication scientist and PhD student, a hobby coder and occasional knitter. I live and work in Münster, Germany.

Tim Schatto-Eckrodt

That's me!

I currently research methods to identify attempts to influence public opinion through online-propaganda at the BMBF-project „PropStop“. Before that I worked as a tutor and student assistant at the Institute for Communication Science (IfK) at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, where I was, among other things, involved in the programming of data analysis tools. Since October 2017 I’m a member of the chair of online communication of the IfK. My master’s thesis dealt with diffusion and the acceptance of new technologies.
